The National Association of Realtors (NAR) and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry released their 2017 Remodeling Impact Report in which they score and report on how consumers view things from home improvement projects completed.  The results for insulation improvements are very favorable and give some great insight into other reasons we don’t often consider at the start of a project.

Qualified Remodeler in their October 2017 magazine shared results from the consumers’ viewpoint.  The top reason for doing the project is to improve energy efficiency at 81%.  Second most common reason at 10% is to customize a home they recently moved into.  The most important result of an insulation upgrade is the improved energy efficiency they experience with result of 55%.

The next group of numbers is very encouraging for the impact insulation upgrades create for homeowners.  Once their project is completed 75% have a greater desire to be home.  63% have an increased level of enjoyment when they are home.  And 65% feel a major sense of accomplishment when they think of the project.  It’s wonderful to get some perspective on how much of a positive affect we have on our customers relationship with their homes.

And one more great number that goes to the bottom line is the realtors’ estimate the value recovered from the project at 76%.  This is a great return on investment and doesn’t even consider the energy savings that are experienced as well.

We would love to serve you next and help you enjoy these direct and indirect benefits with your insulation upgrade.  Please contact us for your FREE estimate and see how you can love your home even more.
