Bauer Specialty was born in 1999 from the vision and dedication of Charlie Bauer—a man driven not just by craftsmanship, but by a deep-rooted belief in doing things right. With steady hands and a clear purpose, he laid the foundation for a company that would come to define specialty contracting in the region: one built on integrity, quality, and relationships that last.
In 2016, that torch was passed to his son, Matt Bauer. With the same spirit that guided his father—and a forward-looking drive all his own—Matt ushered Bauer Specialty into a new era. Under his leadership, the company expanded its reach, embraced innovative solutions, and continued earning the trust of homeowners and businesses across the community.

The journey took an exciting new step in July 2023, when Bauer Specialty purchased the property at 5301 Iroquois Avenue. This move was more than just a change of address; it was a declaration of growth, permanence, and vision for the future. After months of transformation, the new space came alive on May 15, 2024, with a grand opening celebration that symbolized everything Bauer Specialty stands for: excellence, community, and the pride of building something that lasts.
The ribbon cutting ceremony that day wasn’t just the start of a new chapter—it was a tribute to 25 years of service, family values, and the countless lives Bauer Specialty has touched along the way.
